What to Expect from the Introductory dive / Try Scuba Experience

  • Although it’s not a full scuba certification course, The Introductory dive / Try Scuba Experience is a great way to find out whether diving is for you. It includes everything you need to feel confident and prepared before heading into open water.

Here’s what your day will look like:

  • Briefing & Safety Orientation
    Your instructor will guide you through a short and engaging orientation, explaining essential scuba safety rules, hand signals, and basic concepts of breathing and equalization underwater.
  • Introduction to Scuba Gear
    You’ll become familiar with scuba diving equipment—sized and adjusted to fit you perfectly. Learn how the gear works and how easy it is to move and breathe underwater.
  • Shallow Water Practice
    Before your dive, you’ll head to shallow water (maximum 2 meters) to practice a few key skills and get comfortable with breathing through the regulator and moving underwater.
  • Explore the Red Sea Reefs
    Now it’s time for the real adventure! Dive with your instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters and explore the beautiful marine life and coral reefs that make the Red Sea one of the world’s top dive destinations.
