How the Referral Works

The full PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development: Theory, quizzes, and exams (completed at home).
Confined Water Dives: Learning basic skills in a pool (completed at home).
Open Water Dives: Four training dives in the ocean (completed with us!).

By choosing the referral option, you arrive with your referral paperwork ready to go. We handle the final phase, so you can earn your license in just 2 – 3 days instead of 3 or 4.

What You Will Do with Us

Over the course of two days, you will complete:

4 Open Water Training Dives: You will apply the skills you mastered in the pool in a real-world environment under the guidance of our instructors.
Skills Review: A quick refresh of your key safety skills to ensure you are comfortable and confident in the water.
Certification: Upon successful completion, we will sign off your training, and you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver, licensed to dive up to 18 meters (60 feet) worldwide for life.

Course Prerequisites

Age: Minimum 10 years old (10–14 year-olds earn Junior Open Water Diver status).
Documentation: You must present your PADI Referral Form signed by your initial instructor (must be within the last 12 months).
Health: Be in good physical health and able to complete a standard medical questionnaire.
Swimming: Basic swimming skills and the ability to float/tread water for 10 minutes.
