In this flexible dive program, you can choose which subjects you want to learn about, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about oxygen administration in diving emergencies and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) basics.

Using a combination of academic sessions and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency response. By the time you are certified, you will be able to act as an emergency first responder, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support in a medical emergency.

Course Overview

What You Will Learn

This hands-on course focuses on four key components of emergency care:

• Primary Assessment: Learn how to evaluate a scene and stabilize a victim.
• First Aid & CPR Skills: Master life-saving chest compressions and rescue breathing.
• Primary Stabilization: Techniques for handling injuries, wounds, and shock.
• Oxygen Provider (Optional): Learn how to administer emergency oxygen in diving-related accidents.
• AED Basics: Understand how to safely operate an Automated External Defibrillator.

Course Structure

This is a non-diving, “dry” course typically completed in 1 – 2 days:

• Digital Learning: Complete your theory online via the SSI App before the practical session.
• Practical Workshop: Join our instructors at Mr. Diver Red Sea for hands-on practice with manikins and first aid kits.
• Certification: Receive a globally recognized qualification valid for 2 years.
• What is included: Digital material, certification, instructor, classroom and complimentary transportation from and to your hotel in sharm el sheikh.

Prerequisites

• Minimum Age: 12 years old.
• Prior Experience: None! This course is open to divers and non-divers alike.
