It is easy for dive skills to get rusty and to lose confidence when you have not dived for a while. With the SSI Scuba Skills Update, we will get you back in the water and diving with ease in no time. This scuba refresher course allows you to review and practice scuba skills you learned in your Open Water Diver program, under the guidance of an SSI Professional. This is a great course to take just before a dive holiday, so you spend less time worrying about your skills and more time admiring the marine life.

• • The Setup: Kit up out of the back of the vehicle at a beachfront camp.
  • The Dive Profile: Walk into a calm, shallow sandy lagoon, then submerge and glide over a vibrant coral reef garden to a depth of roughly 20 meters.
  • The Highlight: You will arrive at the mouth of a spectacular natural volcanic fissure that drops straight into the seabed. Guided by your dive professional, you will descend safely inside the cavernous gap to a maximum depth of 30 meters. Look up to see the breathtaking visual effect of direct sunlight cutting razor-thin beams through the dark overhead rock cracks.

• • The Surface Interval: Settle into an open-air, carpeted Bedouin restaurant built directly over the water’s edge.

• • The Drop: This is a dramatic vertical entry. You step into a clear, narrow slot in the shoreline rock wall and drop down a safe, vertical chimney pool structure. At 28 meters down, you exit the dark chimney out into the stunning, wide-open turquoise blue ocean.
  • The Drift: Turn right and keep the massive, sheer vertical drop-off wall to your shoulder. Glide along with the gentle current, observing massive fan corals, sweeping schools of anthias, and pelagic fish cruising out in the deep blue.
  • The Crossing: At the end of the drift, you will gradually ascend to around 7 meters and swim over a shallow coral ridge (the "saddle") to enter the deep interior basin of the famous Blue Hole sinkhole. You will complete your safety stop inside this unique marine structure before ascending right in front of the beachfront restaurants.

Requirements

• All divers who wants to join our trips must have at least 1 beach dive with us on house reef cost $60 including complementary equipment before joining our daily diving trips for evaluation and safety as per the local authorities and diving center internal standards.
• Must have a dive computer or to rent one at a discounted price of $5 per day.
• All divers regardless their level or the experience not been diving for 6 month and up to 11 month a check dive will be mandatory from the beach prior to join our diving trips for $50 including complementary equipment.
• All divers regardless their level or the experience who not been diving for 12 month or more a scuba refresher program is required contains 1 dive from the pool then 1 dive from the beach for $150 including complementary equipment.
• You must bring your physical passport (with your entry visa/Sinai stamp) and your digital or physical diver certification card. A security checkpoint on the highway out of Sharm reviews guest manifests.

What is Not Included

Vital Safety Framework (Recreational vs. Tech)

• The Reality of the "Arch": The notorious reputation of the site relates strictly to The Arch—a deep underwater tunnel connecting the inner sinkhole to the open ocean at a dangerous depth of 56 meters.
• Your Safe Recreational Profile: The standard recreational Bells-to-Blue-Hole dive profile stays entirely above 30 meters. You are always within sight of the surface, swimming along a vertical reef wall. You will not enter overhead environments or approach decompression limits.
• Regulatory Supervision: All diving activities in this sector are heavily monitored by the Chamber of Diving and Water sports (CDWS). Diving without a certified, locally registered dive center guide is strictly forbidden.
